A-ma made such a complaint that if I chose the first one which is my initial choice, she said you will suffer from writing such a complicated word for your whole life. A-ma got her point and daddy quickly look up for another one when I am about to register your name tomorrow.

I found this and am really pleased with it - 昕

馨 basically used to describe good smell, perfume

昕 means the time where dawn has come, crack of dawn, the first sun-light and I like it immediately

Happy at Ama A-Kong's place

Haha, now you are at grandma's place. You seems so contented with the new place but not mama.

You have to remember that mama has to undergo the 'suffering' confinement after giving birth to you. She can't bathe, eat veg, drink normal water for a month. She can't go out simple but stay in the house. Most of all, she need to eat a lot a lot of ginger dishes. If Eden's godpa is here, he may bring her a nice chicken confinement soup:-).

So this is no fun at all, you must love her with all your heart when you understand this, how sacrificial a mother can be and this may bring you a foretaste of God's love to you as well.

By the way, we just realised you are the first grand-daughter for Ama and A-Kong, so let's see will there be any 'different' treatment to you, I am sure they love you very much too :-)

Welcome to the real world

Mama has chosen this set of clothes when you were discharged from hospital. Daddy should have a close check or else would not agree with this selection :-) (Ann said I said it was OK when she showed me, I really doubt it :-P)

Anyhow, we thank God that mama and you are safe and healthy in His arms and protection throughout the whole journey and now you are going to see the colourful world soon :-)

Purple Lady

Daddy and mummy think that purple is the colour for you. No special meaning or intention, just see that purple is just right for you when you are held in our arms.

Daddy is such a rebel that thinks pink is too stereotype and common for you and we hope you will like this colour we dedicated to you.

Not to wear any spacial meaning on you, but it just suits you we think :-P


(Hint Hint: Anyone who want to give Erin's gifts, kindly think of purple :-P)

Don't see that mama is smiling happily on this photo, she is concerned with her balloon instead !!!

Strong Mama

Dear Ann did a good job, doctor Tan commented she was tough without taking any jab for pain relief. I was a bit "amused' by her groan - which I already warned her beforehand - haha - still make me grin now -

She was fantastic, strong and determine this time. No vacuum aid for Erin, she delivered her with all her strength. She felt good really at last and was glad it happened in the morning. She has energy to attend Erin later the birth, and also her 'brave, loving and supportive' husband - of course lah :-P

24 May 2007

To be frank... Ann and I felt a bit frustrated when Erin was over the due date. Adam was on the dot, Eden was 1 week earlier but Erin was over due for 4 days. We were pro-natural really, but doctor said she grew fast and bigger and bigger, so we end up compromised and agreed to induce her on 24th May 2007.

I guess Ann and I were also eager to see her, when considering the balloon she carried (see picture- for your eye only :-P) and her mood swing real 'different' this time, we think this is best decision we made.

Ann was just mentioning that she had no dream about Erin at all this time, and that go the same to me. We really wanted to see how she looks like..

5 hours ! Yes 5 Hours from 8.30am, you came to our arms and now you can't wait to grab mummy's hands :-)

My Little Angel Has Arrived

She is just curious who is this dad keep calling her when she first open her eyes - daddy's first comment: I am not sure whether she has double eye lids dear??





Don't disturb my beauty sleep, I need to keep myself fresh tomorrow :-)
